God would never command us to do anything that we cannot do.
So yes, relying on His power – may we all stand strong against the enemy, and yes, use that strength to take captive of our own thoughts.
The truth is – when we round up our renegade ideas, while yes, totally surrendering our thoughts and actions to Him – we can live freely and in perfect peace.
